Deloitte in Bermuda has 6 partners and 195 staff. The largest part of the practice is audit and accounting - rounded off with actuarial consulting, tax, financial advisory and management consulting services.

The tax and actuarial consulting services compliment the industry specializations within the practice, which consist of insurance/reinsurance and alternative investments (hedge funds). The consulting practice concentrates on the reinsurance market. We also render financial advisory services through our corporate recovery and advisory services practice, especially in the reinsurance industry where we have substantial expertise. A further development of our audit and accounting practice is our enterprise risk management services (ERS) practice.

We audit several publicly traded and SEC registered reinsurers and have significant experience with the new Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, especially as they relate to internal controls.  Despite this specialization, the firm has broad experience in many other industries including retail, banking, shipping, investment holding companies, telecommunications and management and brokerage companies.
